Booking & Cancellation
Thank you for your interest in booking one of our yachts!
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding boat selection or the booking process.

If you would like to contact us by phone, please note that we may be in a different time zone or unable to accept phone calls due to customer appointments.
- Choose a yacht from our fleet and send us a request with all important information (tour date, number of adults and children, duration, planned activities (snorkeling, diving, water sports, sightseeing etc) and all other wishes).
- We will calculate the final price for you and send you an offer.
- As soon as you wish to book the yacht under the conditions stated, you will be asked to pay 50% of the agreed price as a deposit.
Your booking can only be confirmed after receipt of this deposit. If the yacht was booked before your deposit was received, we will offer you an alternative yacht / trip / day or refund it immediately.
- 7 days before your trip you will be asked to make the balance payment. The balance may be paid closer to the day of the tour or in cash the day before your trip by individual agreement at the time of booking. In any case, full payment must be made before boarding, otherwise the trip cannot take place.
Our cancellation conditions:
In case of bad weather conditions (high waves, storm, very heavy rain etc.) or technical problems Samui Yacht LTD can cancel your trip. In this case we will offer a replacement date or full refund of all payments.
In other words: YOU HAVE NO RISK TO LOST MONEY BY BAD WEATHER!
Please note, however, that this applies to all conditions that may endanger safety or health. Clouds, light rain & waves are not sufficient grounds for cancellation. Even sudden bad weather fronts during the trip are beyond our control.
For cancellations from your (customer) side, the following cancellation fees apply:
- Cancellation less than 21 days prior to tour start: 50% of the agreed tour price.
- Cancellation less than 14 days prior to tour start: 70% of the agreed tour price.
- Cancellation less than 48 hours prior to tour start: 100% of the agreed tour price.
Unfortunately these cancellation fees have to be calculated because the yachts cannot be rented at such short notice and the loss directly affects all employees, goods have already been purchased or other orders have been made and prepaid.

How can I firmly reserve a private boat trip?
For a binding booking we ask you to send 50% of the agreed price as deposit via bank transfer, paypal or creditcard. If you are uncertain as to which boat/tour is the most suitable for your group pls just contact us and we will work out a perfect yacht trip for you.
What about the hotel transfers to/from the boat?
For some boats we have the transferfers packaged into the tour prices, for others we don't. We can always arrange a transfer at true taxi costs if required.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: all transfers are arranged in a way that you will board your boat in due time. However, our drivers will not wait for more that 10 minutes as they have tight schedules. In case you missed a car you will have to arrange your own transport to the boat. There are no reimburesments for additional transportation costs or lost cruising times. All transfers are arranged from one single pickup point only. If your villa or hotel is situated in the hills, our drivers might refuse to drive all the way to your door. In this case the pickup point will be moved to the nearest place which is considered safe by our driver.
Are there any additional or hidden costs when I book a trip?
No. You pay for an all inclusive tour and there will be no extra charges of any kind. All taxes are included in the stated prices. Hotel transfers are inluded in the trips except hotels in extremely remote areas such as Thong Krut or Thaling Nam. In this case we provide just one way pickup. If you book a trip to Ang Thong National Marine Park or Nang Yuan, you will have to pay 300,- Baht per person (app. 8 U$) to the local park rangers who look after the area.
Can I go to Ang Thong National Marine Park in a day by sailboat?
Yes you can, e.g. with our GLAMOUR. However, be aware that the transfer time to reach there will strongly depend on the wind conditions and can easily excess 3 hrs. If you are a sailing enthusiast this is perfectly fine. If your main focus is to reach the park as quickly as possible, book a speedboat.The best way to see the park is to visit it for a multi day trip. You can then enjoy the magic and serenity aside of the usual visiting times of the many tour boats reaching there daily.
What happens if the weather is bad on my booked day?
We will ofer you an alternative cruising date or refund of your deposit payment. "Bad weather" means high waves, storm or strong rain. Slightly rain may not be the perfect condition, but is not preventing from having fun on a boat.
Can I get a discount?
Private Yacht already offers the best price/service ratio in any given boat category. On top we are not charging 'high season' surcharges, as we feel we still deliver the same product. And this product is priced rock bottom. All year round - for everyone.
Can we review your services?
Yes, please, we invite our guests to post their honest impressions on our Google Business Page and on our Facebook Page and with tripadvisor. Furthermore we have a dedicated guest rating system visible at boat description level.
