Koh Miang is famed for two bays (Honeymoon & Princess), where the King of Thailand's daughter spent her honeymoon. The Island hosts the national park headquarters as well as accommodation options for the Similan Islands, and one can find easy trails for forest walks to viewpoints. The Similans, a group of 11 uninhabited islands about 50 km from the Phang Nga coastline, are probably the most uniquely beautiful islands. They are under the National Marine Park protection and with crystal clear 50 meters visibility quite famous for lovers of diving and snorkeling , as well as being idyllic above the waves, too.
Imagine a dreamy chain of eleven remote islands tucked away in the Andaman Sea, incredibly beautiful, with a coral reef that’s 5000 years old. Covered in jungle and grandeur rocks, with remarkable beaches and marine life unmatched in Thailand, the Similan Islands promising perfect images of paradise from any angle.
