"Smooth" in action - the name of this boat is a great one word description
This fantastic sailboat was specifically designed and built for the magnificent waters that surround Samui. A draft of only four feet makes it possible to anchor nice and close to the best beaches. As most places in the archipelago are quite shallow, this yacht makes cruising stress free and easy. “SMOOTH” is an Atkinson 35 Design. Drawn by renowned New Zealand designer Phillip Atkinson and built by Phuket Yacht Design Boatyard under his guidance. The rig is from the computer desk of Jon Sayer and the sails from the prestigious loft of Rolly Tasker.
Although comfort and ease of use was the main focus in the design process it is clearly visible to the experienced eye that this boat has some racing genes built in as well. "SMOOTH" was successfully raced in the Phuket Kings Cup 2005.
