What is private yacht?

We are a small service enterprise specialized in truly private boat trips at very affordable rates. We use sailboats that are perfectly suitable for the task, be it the 26ft Macgregor , our boat for small private groups or the fantastic Atkinson 35 , a yacht made for liveaboard in the tropics that features ample space and an outstanding sailing performance. Both boats can be booked for private sailing tours in Samui , but for the cost minded guests we also offer joint tours where we take a max. of 8 persons on a boat that is rated for 12 – thus we call these trips “semi-private”.

 
Why are these trips special?

We do not have fixed routes or everyday standard procedures. Our goal is, to tailor every trip around the current weather conditions and also our guest’s preferences. We understand that the majority of holiday makers don´t just want to sit on a boat for hours let alone a whole day, thus we aim to anchor the boat every now and then to offer swimming/snorkelling/fishing or a photo session on the beach to capture the magic of the moment. Every stop is usually off the beaten track, so you won´t find dozens of other boats and hoards of tourists there. A knowledgeable guide not only gives you informations about the sites but also will provide insights about Thailand and life on Samui.
 

What about convenience and safety?

Our yachts are fairly new (the oldest being 3 years now) and equipped to the highest western boating standards. They not only feature a marine toilet, a very useable foredeck or a sun protected cockpit – they are also equipped with the latest technical features like a GPS Plotter or a VHF radio. By the way, the boats are very “seakind”, that means we hardly ever see a passenger getting seasick – even if the conditions get a bit rougher. If the forecast should indicate, that the weather is not suitable for a pleasant boating day, we will cancel the trip free of charge and offer an alternative date.

How long does a trip last and what is the price?

We offer several tour options ranging from a casual sunset cruise to a multi day sailing safari to the more remote areas of the archipelago. However a day trip is the most popular choice. Usually we head to Koh Phangan and stop at the most scenic beaches there. Unless our guests wish to visit certain spots we try to stay away from the masses. Please refer to the following pages for detailed information and prices on each tour. We welcome special requests and tailor made trips.

What is included in the trips?

Our trips include taxi transfers, lunch (except half day cruise & sunset), fresh fruits, light snacks, softdrinks, beers, water, beach towels, snorkelling and fishing gear. Each passenger is insured for the duration of the trip. The only thing that you are required to bring along is good sun protection (sunglasses, hat, cap, sun cream, lip balm, long sleeved clothes if you´re sensitive to sun).
